How Taboo Are You?

NGC's original series Taboo returns for a new season beginning with a special premiere this Sunday at 9p et/pt, followed by new episodes Wednesdays at 10p et/pt.

Taboo takes you all across the globe to places that will test your boundries, may push you out of your comfort zone, but always aims at giving you, the viewer, a better understanding of cultures and practices that may seem shocking and bizarre..

The new season begins with the premiere of Taboo: Initiation Rituals on Sunday, August 5 at 9p et/pt.

Why can't the tribes be educated to eliminate deadly rituals?

For hundreds or perhaps thousands of years that has gone on with no change.
Seems like education might help them to progress more instead of performing rituals.

We have plenty of deadly rituals of our own....street racing, gangs, war, guns. Maybe not the same as sticking your hand into a glove filled with poisonous ants.....but still, they might think we're crazy

I have footage from local groups here in Seattle that shows the same stuff featured on the show. Would NGC be interested in doing a documentary on one of the groups? In the game if you watch some of the videos they are pretty discusting. Alot of the questions repeat and it's not a very interesting game after the first five sets of cards.
